How does month-to-month billing work?
Your payment is automatically billed through our management software every 30 days until you cancel. The standard rate is $5 per foot of your unit’s length.
How much notice do I need to cancel?
No advance notice period is required. Call us at (530) 721-9730 when you’re ready to cancel.
How do you measure the length?
We use the full end-to-end length of the boat, RV, camper or trailer, including the trailer tongue or outboard motor. For a boat on a trailer, measure the entire setup from its frontmost point to its rearmost point.
Is the storage facility secured?
Yes. Our facility is gated and has cameras on the premises. A groundskeeper lives on the property full-time and helps monitor the facility.
Is the storage covered?
No. All of our storage spaces are outdoors and uncovered. Bring a properly fitted boat or RV cover and fasten it securely according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
How much snow do you get compared with Lake Tahoe?
Our facility is at a lower elevation than South Lake Tahoe, and we generally get less snow. In our experience, snow here often melts within a day or two. Snowfall and melting time vary with each storm, so winter conditions can differ from these usual patterns.
A suitable, securely fastened cover helps protect your boat or RV while it is stored outdoors. Call us if you’d like to check current conditions before a visit.
How far are you from South Lake Tahoe?
We’re about a 25-minute drive from South Lake Tahoe, and many of our customers come from there. Drive time depends on your starting point, traffic and weather. Get directions to our Markleeville facility.
Which Tahoe communities do you serve?
Our customers come from South Lake Tahoe, Tahoma, Meeks Bay, Homewood, Tahoe City, Zephyr Cove, Kingsbury and Kirkwood, as well as Markleeville and the surrounding area. All storage is at our facility in Markleeville. Travel time varies by community, route, traffic and weather.
Can I take my boat or RV out and bring it back regularly?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to pick up and return your boat, RV, camper or trailer as often as you like during your storage stay. Many customers leave their unit here between visits, take it out for a weekend and bring it back afterward.
Keeping your unit near Tahoe can reduce long towing trips, fuel costs and travel time. It also gives you a convenient base for exploring the area’s other lakes and campgrounds. Call us to arrange access and getting started.
Can I pay upfront for extra months?
Yes. Pay six months upfront and month seven is free. Pay twelve months upfront and months thirteen and fourteen are free.
Do longer boats, RVs or trailers get a discount?
Units 25 feet or longer may qualify for a rate as low as $4 per foot every 30 days. Call us to ask about the offer and confirm the rate for your unit. Once approved, that same discounted rate applies to the six- and twelve-month prepaid offers, including the free months.
